Van Roberts is the founder and director of Allegiance Academy, which opened in 2021.

His idea for the academy began when he brought his sons to play for Coach Pedro and envisioned what Pedro’s methods and commitment to development could realize in a dedicated facility.

He states, “We strive to maximize a young student athlete’s growth and effectiveness, in a supportive peer group environment and to provide convenience for the family compared to traditional school/club sports divided model. This is achieved by combining high quality private school education with comprehensive soccer training, under one roof.”

Mr. Roberts focuses on an academy where student athletes can grow to their fullest potential as students, athletes and outstanding character individuals by being accountable, perseverance and dedication. “We realize that this academy is demanding and uniquely rewarding, but it is not for every child. The ones that truly want to be best and work their hardest, everyday…this is the place to reach your goals.”
