Luis Padilla

Coach

A dedicated soccer coach and former player, I began my competitive soccer journey with FC Dallas Academy from 2012 to 2015 before pursuing professional opportunities in Mexico. Scouted by Tigres in 2016, I played with their Fuerzas Básicas until a knee injury in 2018 halted my career. After recovering, I returned to the U.S. and transitioned into coaching, driven by a passion for developing young talent and helping players achieve their dreams, whether in professional soccer or higher education.

Throughout my coaching career, I've gained invaluable experience from top coaches in North Texas, including mentorship from Albert Espigares Lopez of Atlas FC and Edvaldo Pedro, ECNL Director for DKSC. My coaching stints include leading successful teams at Avanti Soccer Academy and Rayos FC, where I helped players transition to MLS Next and other ECNL programs.

I served as the head coach for San Antonio City Soccer Club's 2008B & 2011B ECNL teams for a year and 6 months where it was there that I became a father to my son Santiago. Recently me and my family  just moved back to Dallas. I am once again a head coach for DKSC and Allegiance Academy, where we provide elite training opportunities and a competitive atmosphere for any serious athlete to thrive in. With certifications from ICAFUT, USSF, and Football Association of Wales, I focus on strategic player development, fostering a culture of excellence, and nurturing the next generation of soccer stars. My commitment to the game and continuous improvement drives me to inspire young athletes to reach their fullest potential.
